Installation

Click on the version you require above. Select Open rather than Save and for the Outlook version, double-click on SMSForOutlook.exe, for all other versions double-click on Setup.exe. This will install the software for you.

For the Outlook version

Once Installed, and once the PC has been rebooted, a new "Send SMS" button will appear on the Outlook toolbar. Simply click this new button to open the TxTStream application. Once TxTStream is open, click the "Accounts" button and enter your account details.

Some notes on the Outlook version :

  • The Outlook version is windows account orientated i.e. you will need to install for each user account on a PC.
  • Alternatively, install under the administrators account and use the Outlook COM add-in facility to load SMSForOutlook.dll which can be found in the windows system directory.

For the Standalone version

Once Installed run the stand-alone version from the programs menu. Once the stand-alone application is running, click the "Accounts" button and enter your account details, email address and email name.

For the Development tools

Download and install the version of the developers tools you require. The COM+ version has a small .vbs test script associated with it that will get you up and running quickly. The .net version exposes the relevant properties and methods required.
