Outlook

Installation

Click on the download icon on the bottom right of this page for your preferred version after reading the notes below. Select open rather than save, double click on the SMSForOutlookSetup msi installer file (or SMSForOutlook.exe for the old version). This will install the software for you.

After the installation

Once Installed and Outlook has been restarted, a new "Send SMS" button will appear on the Outlook toolbar for Outlook versions prior to 2010. For 2010 and on, a new item will be added to the add-ins menu bar item (which will now appear if it wasn't there before). Click the new button or select the add-in to open the TxTStream application.

Versions, 32-bit vs. 64-bit, Outlook 2007/10 and Outlook 2003

With the introduction of 64-bit Outlook 2010 on 64-bit operating systems, we now have different versions. You can tell what version of Outlook you have by using Help/About on the Outlook toolbar. You will find the download links for all versions to the right of this page. We have provided a download link for our tried and true version...if you are running Office 2003 on XP and below, we suggest you use this version.

Evaluations and accounts

We install in evaluation mode. You will be able to test us out with a few messages and replies with some restrictions. You will only be allowed to send to one, not multiple, recipients and each message will be appended with "...Evaluation only".

Once you are happy that you wish to move to a full account, either contact your reseller or contact us directly using the contact options below. Once a new account has been setup for you, you will be emailed your new account details for your record. Remember to enter your new account and password by clicking the "Settings" button.

Updating from previous versions

If you wish to update from our previous version, make sure that you uninstall the old version first. Control panel, add remove programs and click on SMSForOutlook to uninstall the old version. If you want to install our tried and true old version because that is what has worked for you, please click here.
